Knowledge Requirements
The knowledge requirements in any manufacturing facility are directly related to the units, processes, and equipment at the site. It is specific and it is absolute to that manufacturing process.
A key differentiator of RDC and the KnowledgeWeb solution is our ability to profile all knowledge requirements for the operations jobs at a site. We continuously monitor and update the knowledge requirements. The requirements range from mandated health, safety and environmental to complex systems and equipment within specific process units.
To create the profile, we first identify all the units located in the facility. The Oil & Gas Site Profile and the Chemical Site Profile show the different types of units we can profile within the process industry.
For each unit selected in the plant profile, we develop a unit profile based upon the Unit Operations, Systems, Equipment, Instruments, Fundamentals, Process Safety, and EH&S Mandates that apply. A sample unit profile is shown in the Fluidic Catalytic Cracking Unit Profile.
